Class Experience
Create your own Survivor Kids show!
Immerse yourself in the natural world and test your survival, acting, and team skills at CinemaKidz! Learn all about making shelters, building fires, map making, orienteering, and rugged living as we heaad outside each day! Children will test their wilderness skills, dream up fun personalities and personas for the show, and participate in awesome team-building indoor and outdoor games and challenges. Kids start off by developing an original game structure for their show. Each day is spent acting in, filming, and creating their very own Survivor-inspired Show. We will then edit our show together using professional equipment and software! Kids will learn all about making short video projects from start to finish with a competitive team building twist!
The Week, Campers Will:
- Practice making a short video from start to finish
- Learn various survival skills: orienteering, fire & shelter building, outdoor skills
- Dream up a persona and practice various acting techniques
- Explore age-appropriate editing that tests green screens, special effects, and more complex editing techniques
Ages: 6 - 13 (grouped by age)
*Interested in multiple weeks of the same theme? CinemaKidz levels up your child's experience with each week of camp taken!
