Class Experience
We love our toddlers and early preschoolers! They are in full language-learning mode and it’s amazing how much they can absorb through immersion. In these playclasses, teacher will lead students in fun interactive games, catchy songs, thoughtful questions, tinker crafts, sensory activities and more. Always high-energy and engaging, lessons will help these little ones fall in love with language, learning and exploration. This class is interdisciplinary in nature, where we help students develop all sorts of skills using language (colors, counting, patterns, opposites, prepositions, etc.) around a bunch of fun themes geared specifically for this age group. This age group is on the younger side, so they may be a little shyer or hesitant to raise their hand and share, but we are open to whatever level of interaction they're comfortable with! We can’t wait to play and explore in Spanish with your toddler or early preschooler!
(This class is full Spanish immersion, the instructor will use Spanish as the language of instruction, except for occasional English words for clarification here and there. Open to all experience levels but specifically designed for kids with prior Spanish experience or even Spanish-fluent children.)

What you'll learn
- Class is conducted in full Spanish immersion (aside from the occasional English word if needed for clarification). Open to all experience levels but specifically designed for kids with prior Spanish experience or even Spanish-fluent children.
Sample Class Format
- Each day we greet each other, introduce the theme, and then do theme-related activities, songs, games, etc. - all high energy and engaging. Each class will conclude with a hands-on activity.
- Tuesdays will feature some sort of STEM activity (like building or an expeirment) or a open-ended craft, typically with items you have at home.
- Wednesdays' hands-on activity will be more sensory in nature, like a gross motor game, water play, an ice activity, or play-doh.
- Thursdays will conclude the theme of the week and include open-ended prompts for creation (via play-doh or drawing or a tinker craft).
Other Things To Know
Your child will probably need some active support on your end, but you will be able to step away into another room or give attention to another sibling at the same time if needed.
Refunds are available (minus 6.99% processing fee) for up to 3 days from date of booking, or up to 3 days before class/event begins, whichever comes first. After that, refunds will not be available.
How To Participate
Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.
What To Bring
- Full materials list will be provided for you; we try to only require items that you already likely have at home or can easily find at the supermarket.

Love the mix of sitting/standing activities, the resources, the weekly themes, and the access to recordings. The access to recordings has really saved my bacon this week with a sick kid at home.

Love the idea of a skill based Spanish class- much more engaging than a typical Spanish class
Improvements:
Still unclear what time it ends, never seems to end on time which is hard for bedtime Speaking/reminding to the kids that it doesn’t have to be perfect, my 5 yr old gets discouraged by not making a perfect picture :/. Other drawing channels sometimes have good slogans like “the most important thing is to have fun and practice - it doesn’t have to look like the teacher”

This class is fun and engaging. Kaila is kind, attentive, and keeps my 5 year old's attention. I love that it's mostly in Spanish but that she offers support to meet all students where they are at, and that my son is getting to do one of his favorite hobbies in Spanish! He looks forward to it every time!

About Bilingüitos Spanish Immersion
Bilingüitos exists to cultivate and celebrate bilingualism all around us. We are specifically passionate about equipping bilingual families to connect with their family's heritage language TOGETHER through meaningful connection. We do this virtually through interactive and engaging Spanish immersion classes, featuring our signature Bilingüitos curriculum developed by linguist and childhood bilingualism specialist Kaila Diaz.
Beyond the virtual classroom, we are a vibrant and diverse community of families who are passionate about bilingualism and dedicated to instilling a lifelong love for learning in their children. We delight in bringing these local bilingual communities together through playdates, storytimes, seasonal parties, movie nights, and other events all around their area.
