Class Experience
Toddlers LOVE to touch and explore new materials. So, why not allow them to freely pour, squish, collect and sort in the messy world of the scribble studio with other artists their age? Open play is not teacher-led but we do have a Scribble teacher present to help engage your little one in the fun. Open play is great for developing socialization, fine & gross motor skills, language acquisition, an awareness of physical properties of objects and of course, just having some plain ol' early childhood fun!
Notes
Come dressed for a (creative) mess but we do have smocks!

I loved that it was unstructured. The kids got a chance to play together while doing their own thing. There were enough activities for them to not feel bored.

Cute space
Improvements:
My son is 2 years old, the rice bucket was fun for a bit but he was over it after 15 minutes. Really thought there would’ve been painting (hence the description saying it gets messy & they provide smocks). Other two activities were chalk & crayons .. cute but again didn’t excite my son.

About Scribble Art Workshop
We are a developmentally-based art program for children as young as eighteen months to adults. At our studios, everyone is an artist. We seek to build creativity as a life skill that will serve our students beyond the art studio. Our job is to bring the materials and methods that help students tap back into a primal maker self, a joyful artist who believes she or he knows how to make a thing of beauty.
