Class Experience
Do you have a little ham at home who loves to sing, dance and act? This is the class for them! In this class your child will get a taste of everything from the wonderful world of musical theatre. Each week our theatre professional takes your child on a physical and imaginative journey inspired by a stage or movie musical. Kids will warm up their bodies and learn the fundamentals of dance and participate in theatre games and exercises to learn all about the stage, creating characters and using, singing, dancing and acting to help tell a story. The class ends with a fun show and tell for parents and friends. At I Can Do That NYC, we believe in the arts as a way to give kids the ability to express themselves, work on listening and following directions and explore their imaginations in all things artistic. This is the perfect launching pad to fuel a child's curiosity in the arts. Emphasis will be placed on body awareness, confidence building, self-expression and listening while exploring the fundamentals of creative movement.
Notes
This class is for kids Ages 3.5 - 5.5. This is a drop off class. We understand some kids may require gradual separation with an adult, which we fully support.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an indoor class and at this time masks will be optional. However, due to the evolving Covid situation we may at times need to pivot to an online class or require masks. Any questions please reach out to us at info@icandothatnyc.com

This is the second summer camp my daughter has attended, and we couldn't be happier. It was not only an opportunity to have fun and make new friends, but also to learn from great professionals in the fields of acting, singing, and dancing. It's incredible how they managed to organize a fantastic musical in just two weeks, involving children of different age groups. I highly recommend it!

My daughter loves Jeff and Melissa and really has been enjoying this the I Can Do That camp experience. I can tell from how excited she gets to tell us everything that happened that day. Which quite honestly is very rare with her. Ha!

With over 25 years of experience and major appearances on Broadway and National Tours including THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, GUYS AND DOLLS, WONDERFUL TOWN, EVITA, THE PAJAMA GAME, ANYTHING GOES, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, WEST SIDE STORY, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, and A CHORUS LINE, Jeff and Melissa know just about everything AND everyone in the world of Theatre and Dance.
