Kodomo Crafts

Come join us in our Kodomo Crafts class for ages 2.5-4 years olds! 

This class will be learning about the culture of Japan through stories, followed by a craft! The crafts will vairy and can be painting, collaging, clay making and MORE! We will also be introducing a new element to our programing of home economics commonly taught in all Japanese schools staring in Elementary. This will include things such as cleaning, cooking, manners, and life style management.

Children must be able to listen to instructions and remain seated through out the class. Children do not need to fully potty trained. Children may participate in pullups! An Adult must stay in the facility to help little ones use the bathroom at all times until they are fully potty trained in MTC standards. Families are welcome to practice separation and independence through this class. Parents are not allowed in the classroom at all times but must be available in the facility for littles who are beginning to practice separation to help out. If a child is crying for long periods of times or not listening even after a time out, we will ask families to try again the following week in order to maintain class quality for other participants. There will be no makeups offered for this occasion.

Makeup classes are offered in any age appropriate fitness class only. No makeups in Japanese, Keiki Crafts, Preschool Prep, or Art. Absence must be called in a day prior to by 6pm to receive a makeup credit. No exceptions.
