Class Experience
from clever crafts to game design to simple engineering… a playful theme each day
Each day we focus on a different playful theme and material. The overarching goal is to elevate hands-on projects from "arts-and-crafts" to "toy design" so that campers have a more sophisticated exploration in a world of design that is specifically relevant to them... and super fun!
Projects include: Scribble Bots, Character Trading Cards, Ball Maze, Mini Record Player, Softy Toys, DIY Arcade, Board Game Basics, and - a fave! - designing a Toy for a Friend.

My daughter spent a week at Curious Jane this summer. She didn't know anyone else in her group, but found it very welcoming and enjoyable. It seemed like the size of the project and the amount of time spent on it was just right for her age group. She was very proud of the project she built, but also had fun with the other activities that were mixed into her days.

The pick up and drop off was so smooth. The entrance was so welcoming and fun. My daughter was so excited to be there. Thank you to everyone that contributed to such an amazing camp. We hope you come back to the area next year and are interested in the Long Beach camp as well.
