design in secret worlds in miniature, and let your imagination take the lead
Miniature Worlds are some of our favorite places to be! In this theme, a new take on Mini World, campers design imaginative, secret worlds in tiny scale.
Each day, they create a different world, using all sorts of colorful materials. They investigate scale, proportion, and simple engineering through the construction of their 3D spaces. They create indoor worlds, outdoor worlds, and worlds entirely from their imagination.
Campers are doing so much learning while they are making, and they constantly amaze us with their creativity. The classroom becomes their studio and miniature world. Got designer’s block? Just visit the swap shop or inspiration station.
Projects include Enchanted Forests, Circus Tents, Shoebox Lockers, Miniature Furniture and Accessories, Mini People and Pets, and of course a Secret World Search Lanterns and Map.

My daughter spent a week at Curious Jane this summer. She didn't know anyone else in her group, but found it very welcoming and enjoyable. It seemed like the size of the project and the amount of time spent on it was just right for her age group. She was very proud of the project she built, but also had fun with the other activities that were mixed into her days.

The pick up and drop off was so smooth. The entrance was so welcoming and fun. My daughter was so excited to be there. Thank you to everyone that contributed to such an amazing camp. We hope you come back to the area next year and are interested in the Long Beach camp as well.
