Class Experience
Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a marvelous introduction to the work of Western civilization’s greatest playwright. And what better way to learn than by doing!? Student actors will be immersed in Shakespeare’s beautiful language and fanciful but all too human characters. Our version will also include show tunes and pop music appropriate to this comedy so you will not only enhance your acting skills but your singing ability as well! Veteran director and teacher Mat Young (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night & The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at Crystal Theatre) will helm this production with Gillian Eckert as choreographer and Cheryl Kemeny as musical director.

Loved:
Loved how each kid got to have an opportunity to speak and play a character. It was great. So glad we did it!
Improvements:
It’s our first time doing this and this was one of the more expensive camps we signed up for. I didn’t realized we would also have to pay for tickets to see the play in addition to camp. I would suggest to roll in the cost of 4 tickets for each camper (and increase tuition) and then any additional tickets should be bought separately.
