Class Experience
This art class is especially designed for adult art enthusiasts of any skill level. Whether you are an interested beginner or a seasoned practitioner, this course will allow you to explore a wide variety of art making techniques and enjoy the companionship of fellow art lovers!
Each month of this class will be themed around specific creative topics, artistic techniques, and materials. This will provide ample studio time and instruction for participants to become familiar with the various materials and methods. It will also afford them a chance to utilize the assorted media in a number of different stylistic applications.
For those selecting the Monthly Pricing option, the Processing Fee accounts for the total fees which will be charged for the remainder of the year. This is a one time fee.
Notes
The studio is located in Fairlawn Plaza at 5415 SW 21st St, right next to Eagle Auto Wash.
Class Requirements
- In order to guarantee space is available, students MUST sign up BEFORE attending a class by either registering online or contacting the studio at least two hours in advance.
- No previous art making skills are required, just a love for art and an eagerness to learn and create!
What you'll learn
- Students will learn new skills every week by working with a variety of art tools, materials, and techniques.
- Students will develop an increased confidence in their art making abilities
Sample Class Format
- Each week we typically start and finish a new creative art project. In this way, students are free to join the class at any time. Plus, when you occassionally need to miss class, you won't feel like they are getting behind.
- During class time we focus on learning the new techniques or experimenting with the different materials. We are less concerned with the results of what you create in a quick 90 minute class. By focusing more on the techniques, this allows you to continue experimenting at home to gain extra proficiency and better results.
Other Things To Know
Enrollent transfers or gift card credits are available whenever class is cancelled. However, these options are not available if a student misses class without at least 24 hours prior notice. Learn more at: www.mizeartstudio.com/cancel
What To Bring
- All supplies are included in the cost of the class, so students don't need to bring anything! However, if you do have some favorites supplies or a sketchbook, you are certainly welcome to bring them along!

A step by step process was provided that included clear and applicable explanation of the language of the supplies and techniques used.
Improvements:
Providing a rubber mat on tables to keep the easels from moving while you paint, would be helpful.
