NOTE FOR PARENTS: The art projects for Tuesday and Friday clubs are different.
Join us for this dynamic after school art club that encourages your child’s creativity and fosters friendships with their peers. Sweet Ridge Studios teaches your child the foundations of art; color, line, shape, and form using engaging mixed media art projects. Our programming is material rich and focuses on play and experimentation in the creative process. Your child will engage in art projects that ignite their imagination like drawing, painting, and sculpting, hone their art skills and be present in a nurturing space that encourages their social emotional development. When they make art students learn to integrate their mind and body and acquire creativity as a tool for problem solving and innovative thinking that is applicable throughout their lifetimes.

These heroes invited DPS kids to camp due to last second closure and it saved our work lives. Our kid had a blast most importantly!

Hi Cindy, Thank you for your review. Mr. Tim is an avid ceramicist and an excellent three dimensional instructor. He thoroughly enjoyed teaching the students the steps necessary to sculpt a Colorado columbine and then enhanced it by painting a landscape to "plant" it in. Truly a mixed media gem. About Sweet Ridge Studios
Our mission is to inspire Wonder and reward Curiosity to create lifelong learners and artists. When we Create we build community and in community we thrive.
We are located in the heart of Wheat Ridge Colorado right off 38th Avenue and offer dynamic and engaging art education for Everybody!
We have art classes for kids ages 3 to 18 as well as after school art clubs. We offer art camps when school is out during the Summer, school work days for teachers in both Jeffco and DPS and holidays. We host “Kids Night Out” the third Saturday of the month where you can drop your student off for an open studio style night of fun.
For Adults we have a rotating line up of classes and workshops as well as Date Nights the second Saturday of the month, Grab your partner, bestie or bae and come have a creative night out with us. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a new skill or refine what you already know.
In our teaching we focus on process over product and encourage play and experimentation in artmaking.
We have a bright, playful studio, full of love and laughter that we welcome you and your family into. Join us to build a thriving creative community in Wheat Ridge.
