Class Experience
Treat yourself and a companion to an unforgettable evening of creating something beautiful and lasting! Make one piece each on the pottery wheel. Your pieces will then go through two firings and be glazed by a staff member to be picked up by you about 3/4 weeks later. (We cannot take requests for glaze colors. Your piece will be glazed in a color picked by our staff.)
This class is priced for two participants at $160 total ($80 per person), which includes materials, firing, and glazing. When prompted to select 'Who is attending?' only enter one name unless you are enrolling an additional pair.
Please note that wheel throwing takes a lot of practice. You should not take this class expecting to come away with a perfect mug or bowl. This class is process focuesed, not product focused. If you are more interested a specific final product or picking your glaze colors, we suggest you take one of our 8 week classes.
**This class is suitable for complete beginners, as well as for more experienced students**
PLEASE NOTE: We will not email you when your work is ready. Please do not call or email to ask if your work is ready to pick up. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing your work, and then come back to pick it up.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you wish to receive a refund for a One-Off, Date Night, Family Wheel or Open Clay Time class, your request MUST be received 3 days prior to the day of your class. After this time we are unable to offer refunds, credits or transfers.

Improvements:
I reached out several times to try to reschedule my class, but never heard back. I tried calling, leaving voicemails, and sending emails. I’m very disappointed.

Actually working with the clay was great. The initial walkthrough was good for me as well.
Improvements:
I didn’t get the sense that we were the instructors priority that night. There was a staff party or something happening next door and it seemed relatively clear to me that our instructor would have rather been there. After going through the directions once as a class she stopped helping us make our pieces. Neither my girlfriend or I had anything useable at over halfway through the class and neither of us were helped. Class ended close to a half hour early too. In short, it seemed unprofessional
