Class Experience
During the summer we offer "Total Immersion German Language Camps". We learn through play and observation with lots of fun summer activities during our week long camps involving arts and crafts, theater, games, live entertainers and more.
Notes
You will receive COVID-19 prevention information as it relates to the camp via the email address for which you registered for the class. Parents must read this, sign a confirmation and liability waiver, and return this to classes@germantexans.org or the camp instructor before you child(ren) will be allowed to attend and participate in camp.
Other Things To Know
- Prior to first class – 90% refund of the tuition amount
- Prior to the second class – 70% refund
- Prior to the third class – 50% refund
- No refund is available after the third class

My kids spoke enthusiastically about the class at pickup time. They enjoyed the projects.
Improvements:
Once I signed up, I was looking for specific details about the program. They still came out the week before, but I overplan and was looking for them sooner. Once sent, I had everything I needed.

Excellent teachers. They take care of the kids and make sure they get something out of it, ie 100% German speaking❤️❤️❤️
Improvements:
Longer duration during the day, and more week options throughout the summer.

I love that my kids came home speaking German!
Improvements:
The time of camp is horribly inconvenient. I would even rather do a 1/2 day as long as it started at a normal time like 8. The church has a better facility for the littles. My kids missed the playground.

The effort Frau Jackson puts into preparing her classes. The content is wonderful. She has great teaching skills and is so patient and caring with the kids

We offer German classes for all ages, including adult classes and formal classes for homeschool, private school, and other younger learners. We also serve as a Goethe Institute testing center, and our curriculum aligns with the Goethe Institut and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; classes prepare interested students for the Goethe German language proficiency exams, recognized globally as proof of German-language ability.
