Class Experience
Do you have homeschool kiddo around the ages of 7-12 that loves art! A creative kid that is constantly drawing, painting, building, and creating! Then this weekly class is exactly what you've been looking for! Each week students will have the opportunity to create a new art project that will allow them to to learn a new age appropriate art making skill or experiment with a different art tool or material. In addition, your child will get to make new friends with other homeschool kids their age who also love art!
Students in this class are also eligible to earn Mize Money which allows them to buy their own art supplies and they even get $100 when they attend their first class!
Notes
The studio is located in Fairlawn Plaza at 5415 SW 21st St, right next to Eagle Auto Wash.
Class Requirements
- Students must register in advance before the start of class.
- No previous art making skills are required, just a love for art and an eagerness to learn and create!
What you'll learn
- Students will learn new skills every week by working with a variety of art tools, materials, and techniques.
- Students will develop an increased confidence in their art making abilities
Sample Class Format
- Each week we typically start and finish a new creative art project. In this way, students are free to join the class at any time. Plus, when you occassionally need to miss class, your student won't feel like they are getting behind.
- We often will have 10-20 minutes of class time after completing our main project for the week. The studio is full of other popular creative activities students may choose to enjoy during this free time.
- At the end of class each week, we get out the "Treasure Chest" and students may decide if they'd like to buy any art supplies with the Mize Money they have earned and saved.
Other Things To Know
Enrollent transfers or gift card credits are available whenever class is cancelled. However, these options are not available if a student misses class without at least 24 hours prior notice. Learn more at: www.mizeartstudio.com/cancel
What To Bring
- All supplies are included in the cost of the class, so students don't need to bring anything! However, if they have created any art on their own outside of class time, they can bring that to the studio to earn more Mize Money!

Sully enjoys the classes, he looks forward every week to something new and fun. He loves to bring his art work from home and wear his Mize shirt to get his mize money. I love to see him experience new ways to create art work with new techniques and tools. He is expanding his love of art through the studio!! Thank you for being such a creative influence on him.

Sullivan loved the class, he was ready to go to the next level of art learning and this class was just what he needed. Working at home on art projects was fun but this class went to a new adventure foe him.
