Class Experience
During our school holiday camps, artists will play and create all day! We'll have a mix of open ended play prompts that our students will be invited into, and then we curate project work based on age levels and seasonal themes. If the weather cooperates, we'll mix our day with outdoor play in Founders Park.
Notes
Location: SOUTH ORANGE: The studio is located at 165 Valley Street Unit B in South Orange. Street parking is available on Valley Street and a public parking garage is connected to the building on Third Street across from Sloan Street. Please be mindful that Valley Street is a very well traveled road and keep your child at arm's length as you approach the studio. MONTCLAIR: Our Montclair studio is located at 237 Lorraine Avenue in Upper Montclair. Parking is available in the lot behind our storefront as well as the paid town lot across the street. Please enter through the front left hand door.
Attire: We do often get messy and colorful. Please dress for messiness.
Other Things To Know
Camps are refundable- less a $50 processing fee- 45 days in advance. After 45 days in advance, we can apply credit- less a $50 processing fee- IF we are able to fill the spot, otherwise non- refundable. PLEASE SEND REQUESTS VIA EMAIL.

Making pompoms Parents loved the Book of feelings and appreciated the flexibility of drop off.
Improvements:
Drawing bunnies with pencil and color them in with paint 🤷🏻♀️ Teachers introduced themselves during drop off.

Our son LOVES Oh! Canary Camp during the summer and was so excited to go back to camp on a day off from school. It is the perfect mix of creative indoor art with fun outdoor play, which is perfect for the age group. The instructors were awesome, as always- they make it such a safe place for kids, while also providing engaging and creative activities for them to do.

The space is so welcoming and the instructors always greet the kids so thoughtfully. My son ran right in and really loved the variety of activities and creative projects they did - we were so impressed with the awesome things they completed in just two days! It’s also great that the kids got time outside at a nearby park.
Improvements:
It was fantastic, just like all of the classes we’ve taken at Oh Canary!

It could be cool to know the themes ahead of class to get them excited but not necessary.
