Class Experience
CLASS DESCRIPTION: This semester, we will dive into the world of the Italian Renaissance. We will study the art, architecture, and thought of the Italian Renaissance and we'll discuss key figures like the Medici family and the artists they were patrons of.
Our main-unit project will most likely be a replica of the Tempietto del Bramante. We may also build a project related to Gutenberg's Printing Press.
We teach history through art! Our afternoon workshops are supplemental learning sessions to your child's education, as we add geography and history to all of our art classes. Our unique curriculum is designed and taught by Anna (MFA) and Juan Carlos Donado (PhD in Philosophy).
Our students work diligently through journal work, guided diorama projects, occasional free build time, drawing exercises, and memorization work.
Class tuition includes a sketchbook and all materials needed to build.
Additional materials required: Smock for new students.
Pickup included from Brooklyn Arbor all days. Pickup included from 132 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Pickup included from 84 on Thursdays.

About Goose Grease Shop
Goose Grease House is a Brooklyn-based art workspace that offers unique classes, interactive camps and creative experiences by blending art with history and culture. We offer in-studio and virtual classes.
Our studio is dedicated to expanding the minds and skills of young Goose Greasers. With a curriculum designed by husband and wife team, Juan and Anna Donado, budding artists are encouraged to think independently and creatively while immersing themselves in multi-media arts.
Juan holds a PhD in Philosophy and uses his background in languages and the classical cannon to develop robust historical lessons. Anna has a Masters in the Arts and combines many art forms into her mixed media, sculptural approach to learning history.
