Cook + Create Camp is Back! (formerly Homesteading)
Kids will love learning, playing, growing, crafting, baking, and cooking at our Schoolhouse Summer Camp.
Each day is unique and every week is packed with recipes and creative projects!
Our Full Day campers will make lunch in the morning from scratch. Homemade pasta, handmade tortillas, dough for empanadas and more! Schoolhouse cooking tools are age appropriate and our warm, encouraging staff helps kids learn important life skills in a positive, supportive, and FUN environment!
Campers will make their own dessert each afternoon, learning and practicing measuring, mixing, and other baking and pastry skills.
You are always welcome to send your camper with NUT FREE food for an extra lunch or a snack.
Camp times: Monday - Friday
9AM - 3PM
$550/ child
$50/ early drop off 8am - 9am
For children ages 5-11
We'll bake, cook + craft each day and the consecutive days make it possible for us to do longer projects.
It's a lot of fun building on skills all week long and having a relaxed and creative environment to play in!
Trips to the park and area gardens are part of our daily schedule, too. Kids love the variety of activities.
Recipes are sent home each week so that you can continue practicing skills at home.

Loved:
My daughter and her friend attended and they seemed to love it! Cake pops are always a great idea, they loved making those!
Improvements:
I think the age range is too large. When 10-11 year olds are doing the same activity with 4-5 year olds it really changes the dynamic. I think they would enjoy it more if the time was structured more to their age group.

Student "That I got to play with some kids and I liked making the frosting for the churro donuts." Mom: Sign up and drop off/pick up were super easy. We feel super safe sending our kid for the day. It's a great day off option in the neighborhood.
