Class Experience
Adult Neo Classical Ballet is a fast-paced, Balanchine-inspired class taught by Eric Holzworth, former New York City Ballet Company Member. Accompanied by orchestral music, the class quickly progresses through challenging barre work, center combinations, and across the floor excercises emphasing the speed, precision, musicality, and beauty of George Balanchine's iconic ballet technique. The class is recommended for advanced students and professional dancers.
Please note: Brooklyn Ballet proudly offers recreational, pre-professional, and professional adult ballet classes, based on classical ballet technique, traditional French terminology, and established pedagogy. All classes are led by our esteemed faculty and take place in person at our studio in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. We do not offer "barre method" or "ballet core" classes.

Amazing and unique class. Teacher creates a welcoming and fun environment.
Improvements:
Studios are dirty and the floors are dangerously slippery. Inconvenient class time.

Eric's class is the best. Eric gives challenging Balanchine combinations that allow us to push our technique while being able to feel like we are really dancing. The class environment is fun and everyone is very supportive of one another. I first came to this class after a long break from ballet - it was the perfect, non-intimidating way to come back to class. This class is the highlight of my week!
