Class Experience
Dads Group is an open-minded, forward thinking, non-judgmental space for fathers and their babies aged 0-12 months. The expectation of a father’s role in a child’s life has increased immensely in recent times - this class will give you tips, tricks and support as to how to navigate this wonderful expectation.
Notes
There is metered parking south of Washington Blvd as well as in front of our building.
What you'll learn
- The group will run for 8 weeks and allow fathers to connect with other dads through shared experience, to learn developmentally appropriate tools and skills to help them better bond and communicate with their child and their partner, and to share in the ups and downs of being a dad.

We love getting to see the same parents & babies week after week. The People Place always puts out new toys and things for the babies to crawl through, so they're completely entertained while the parents chat.

About The People Place
The People Place (thepeopleplacela.com) is a space in Culver City that offers Mommy & me classes, Daddy & me classes, as well as bilingual story time and music classes for infants and toddlers. The co-founders, Robyn Murgio and Kazia Cumbler, have been hosting a West-LA mommy & me class called "Mama needs a drink" for over 10 years, but just opened their own permanent space in September. Our mission for The People Place is to be a nonjudgemental safe space that teaches gentle parenting techniques and that helps young families find community. We offer classes 5 days a week and are expanding our schedule monthly.
