Class Experience
Ages 2-5 years with adult participation.
Dance in the Park is a chance for our youngest dancers and their caretakers to move, groove, wiggle, and bounce in the fresh air! This is a family-friendly, high energy class using Urbanity's signature approach to creative movement. We blend a wide range of dance techniques with music, imagination, and exploration to help students practice motor skills, bond physically with their caretakers, and build strength, coordination, and balance.
Important Details:
- Please note this is an outdoor class at Blackstone Square Park (1535 Washington St).
- Please bring a blanket or towel to define your space.
- Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended for dancers, as well as the use of sunscreen and bringing a water bottle for particpants old enough to use one.
- An adult must accompany each child at all times in the park.
- If inclement weather occurs, the class will be moved indoors to our Urbanity Central (725 Harrison Ave)
Other Things To Know
- A non-refundable $30 registration fee is included in the cost of tuition.
- Remaining tuition will be prorated based on the date of withdrawal notice.
- Students may withdraw at any time for a prorated refund.

Loved:
Haley Day is the MOST phenomenal instructor. She engages will all dancers in such a spectacular way; she provides adequate amount of time to all and strengthen them on their individual levels. Anyone can tell from the very first moment, she is intentional with every minute spent in studio with each person... she loves what she does and that comes thru in a wonderful way. Thank you for all you do Ms. Haley!

I loved how free and structured the class felt, a good happy medium of self expression and the learning of exact movement of the body.
Improvements:
The space was a bit small for the amount of kids in the room but the experience was worth it!
