Class Experience
This monthly class is designed for homeschooled children. In this class, we will cover a wide variety of art styles, techniques, materials, and art history. Every week, homeschooled students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade will explore the world of fine arts with different mediums and styles, with each monthly course focusing on a wide variety of materials and mediums. Weekly projects might include drawing, painting, clay, or collage, and students will also learn about the artists and art history related to the weekly projects. Projects for younger students are designed to refine skills such as using rulers and scissors and learning color theory through color mixing. Older students will focus on core concepts from the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. All students will enjoy a welcoming and fun setting, learning with and through art!

My daughter looks forward to art class every week! Lessons are fun and connected to art history in some way which I really like. All kids’ ideas and voices are all celebrated and heard.
