Class Experience
This class will help you approach the medium with confidence and unleash your individual style and potential as a painter. Learn to choose pigments, explore composition, and achieve transparency and light in your paintings. Kene will also help you discover and identify artists and styles along the way, with insightful discussions as we embark on this Watercolor Journey!
The instructor will provide materials for the first class, but students will need to supply materials after the first class.

What To Bring
- Strathmore Cold Press Watercolor Pad 11 x 15
- # 10 round brush
- 1" Flat wash brish
- Rigger or Scrip Liner brush
- Art Pallet w/ wells
- Container for water
- Paper towel or rag
- Blue masking tape
- Foam Board
- Student Grade watercolor set or individual tubes / cakes
- Suggested colors below:
- Thalo Blue
- Ultramarine Blue
- Paynes Gray
- Alizarin Crimson
- Burnt Sienna
- Yellow Ochre
- Hookers Green (Dark)
- Cadmium Yellow ( Light or Dark)
- *Please NO BLACK OR WHITE

My daughter looks forward to art class every week! Lessons are fun and connected to art history in some way which I really like. All kids’ ideas and voices are all celebrated and heard.
