Spring Break Culinary Bootcamp is open to all kids from ages 8-17 who want to join us at Cookology in Ballston Quarter!
Join us in the kitchen for a fun and educational week of baking and eating!
We have found over the last few years, that utilizing professional culinary teaching methods at this age group ensures a better understanding of cooking and a feeling of accomplishment among our young customers.
You are purchasing a 5-day cooking camp that meets Monday, April 14th through Friday, April 18th from 1:30pm- 5:00pm. The total cost of five sessions is $575. The class is 3.5 hours long.
This is hands-on, classes may run over/under schedule.
Class will be from 1:30pm-5:00pm
Monday:

Tuesday:
• Lemon Pound Cake

Wednesday:
• Blueberry Shortbread Bars

• Chocolate Lava Cakes
• Kitchen Sink Cookies (Chocolate, Dried Fruit, Nuts (Optional)
• Jam Thumbprint Cookies
Friday:
• Cupcake Wars Competition: Spring Edition
• Handmade PIzza

NOTE FOR PARENTS: We reserve the right to remove any disruptive or potentially dangerous child from the class. In the event your child must be removed from the class we will contact the designated caregiver who will be responsible for picking up the child immediately.
ALLERGY ALERT: Parents and/or guardians are responsible for making the Cookology staff aware of their child's allergies at the time of booking and at the time of sign-in on the first day of camp. For the safety of every child, ALL ALLERGIES (mild to severe) must be listed including the severity and nature (topical, air-borne, or ingestion) of each allergy. Every child will be touching every ingredient during the camp session. Therefore, any topical allergies must be identified as such. Subsequently, parents, guardians, and/or caregivers are responsible for providing appropriate and necessary remedies or medications to be administered in the event the child experiences an allergic reaction.
Notes
Please provide a water bottle. No sandals or any open-toed shoes. Aprons, all utensils and ingredients will be provided. Students will eat what they make or take it home.
If you would prefer your child to eat at HOME and NOT at Cookology you can send to go containers or we will pack their food in boxes, or you can use our to go boxes.
Price is per person so, if you would like to register another child for this class, you must sign them up as your child. Simply choose "ADD CHILD” and enter your guests name and a birthday. This will allow you to register another participant. Price is per person, so it will add the additional cost for the seat. Or you can have your guest(s) create an account and register themselves separately.
Parking in Ballston Quarter parking lot is recommended. Park on level 4 or 5, then proceed to Mall level 3.

About Cookology at Ballston Quarter
Since 2009, Cookology Culinary School has offered cooking class experiences for adults and kids including birthdays, girl scouts badges, summer camps, family classes, and for adults we offer classes, team buildings, private parties, retirement and bridal events.
We get inspiration from the latest cooking trends to bring you truly entertaining classes that fit your budget and encourage you to cook, eat and enjoy fantastic food!
This year we have joined the virtual world, and utilize Webex to host all of our classes. When you purchase a class, you will immediately receive a link to the ingredient lists and recipes, as well as the Webex link.
We have two locations in Northern Virginia, Arlington and Sterling. We will be offering in-person classes when it is safe to reopen.
