Class Experience
Beginner II
Perfect your motor skills, basic gymnastics knowledge.
50 minute class.
Activities include tumbling, low bar, floor beam, and motor skills.
- Floor: Handstands, Cartwheels, Bridges
- Bars: Hanging, Front Support, Casts
- Beam: Mounting, Specialty Walks, Dismounting
- Vault: Running with Hurdle, Jumping

Hi KiPS Families!
We are so excited to have you join our Beginner I class! At KiPS, our coaches follow curricula to build foundational gymnastics skills, and we are able to tailor each of our classes to best fit the needs of your children.
The Spring Session runs from March 10th - June 9th, 2025.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
•Beginner I make up-classes are held Sundays 4:15-5pm with open gym right afterwards.

Other Things To Know
Enrollment may be cancelled for a full refund up to 7 days before the session begins. Cancellations made after this time are credited to your KiPS account at 70% of the remaining classes.

Loved:
Lots of different skills being taught. Instructors seem knowledgeable. It's kind of a small space for the number of kids, but it's used well.
Improvements:
For most of the classes there was a brief warmup followed by small group work. This was great. My kids were up and moving the entire class. However, for the last two classes there was an extended warm-up and workout for the whole class, and instead of breaking into 3 groups everyone did the same things after that. This led to them sitting for half of the class time, and the kids looked bored/distracted. Lines got longer at each station, and kids got fewer reps. Please do more small group time!

The coach/students ratio, so that the kids are always supervised. All coaches seem to enjoy what they are doing, and kids like working with them. Clean area, especially considering the traffic. My kid is super excited about the little surprise sticker she gets at the end of the class.
Improvements:
Sometimes when the class is full and not all teachers are present, some kids remain unsupervised in the corners, and they might not always have the correct form for the exercise they are practicing
