Class Experience
Join us for an introduction to basic gymnastics! No experience necessary.
50 minute class
Activities include tumbling, low bar, floor beam, and motor skills.
- Floor: Forward/Backward Rolls, Donkey Kicks, Bridges
- Bars: Hanging, Monkey Bar, Front Support
- Beam: Walking, Jump to Safe Landing
- Vault: Running, Skipping Coordination of Hands and Feet
Other Things To Know
Enrollment may be cancelled for a full refund up to 7 days before the session begins. Cancellations made after this time are credited to your KiPS account at 70% of the remaining classes.

Loved:
Excellent instructors. They work very well with all of the kids. They are attentive and encouraging.
Improvements:
More instructors at each station so that the kids form can be corrected and improve on each skill.

Improvements:
There are too many children in each class. Not enough individual attention and the space is very small for such a large class. Overall the experience has been very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback! Since most of our classes are full, we break them into groups and strictly follow a gymnast to instructor ratio by age/ability to ensure groups are small and they have individualized attention. They rotate in groups to stations in main gym space, as well as the upstairs where we have 3 low bars, beams, and rings. We would love to chat further next time you are at KiPS!

My daughter loves the class!
Improvements:
It's a big class with a wide age range and the space is not huge. I wonder if the class was a bit smaller if they'd get more experience.
