Class Experience
For thousands of years, dyes were created by using natural materials like leaves, roots, bark, and flowers. Some of the most beautiful and longest lasting colored fabrics were created with those natural dyes. This week we will create dyes and experiment with different fabrics, enjoying the process every step of the way!
Notes
The Vibe Studios are nut-free environments for the safety of our students who have allergies. Thank you for understanding and being mindful of what food your child brings to the studio.
Please pack a NUT FREE snack for your camper to enjoy 1/2 way through the workshop.
Have your child bring a lunch that is NUT FREE to have during the lunch hour.
Also have your child bring a jacket and water bottle as we will go outside for a play break during the day.

So many different dyes and also creative things to do with them!
Improvements:
Drop off on first day was a little disorganized. My daughter says the only thing to be improved is to have more things to dye that are not scraps (like the bag, bandanna, etc)

My daughter loved the actual dying and hands on work, but it was so limited that she was bored and frustrated which is not usually the case with her and Vibe. There were far too many kids in the class.

Sora always learns so much about sewing from Ms Xea, and at the end of the week had a twin-sized quilt that she worked hard on and felt very proud of.
