Class Experience
Kids will love learning, playing, growing, crafting, baking, and cooking at our Schoolhouse Spring Break Camp! For children ages 5-11.
Each day is unique and packed with recipes and projects!
Our campers will make a fresh lunch and a springy dessert each day. Campers will also have fun with arts and crafts projects, games and more.
You are always welcome to send your camper with NUT FREE food for an extra lunch or a snack.
Camp times: Monday - Friday
Full Day: 9AM - 3PM $110/ day
Early Drop Off - 8am - 9am - $10/ day

Recipes are sent home each week so that you can continue practicing skills at home.
Camp Schedule
Monday, March 24
Lunch: Mini Quiche and Roasted Potatoes
Dessert: Strawberry Lemon Donuts
Enjoy breakfast all day! We will make a lovely brunch to start the week, and the sweet treats in the afternoon are cake donuts flavored with strawberries and lemon zest.
Tuesday, March 25
Lunch: Homemade Orecchietti (little ears) Pasta with Peas.
Dessert: Spring Mini Bundt Cakes
Kids will love making homemade pasta dough to shape into these "little ears". In the afternoon, we will make and decorate a mini vanilla bundt cake. The design is up to you!
Wednesday, March 26
Lunch: Broccoli Mac and Cheese Bites
Dessert: Cinnamon Monkey Bread
We make homemade mac and cheese (and trees!) even more irresistible by baking it in a muffin pan for our lunch. In the afternoon, we'll make a homemade yeasted dough to roll in cinnamon sugar for the most delicious Monkey Bread.
Thursday, March 27
Lunch: Baked Potato Soup + Garlic Knots
Dessert: Bunny Brownies
Kids love making our baked potato soup and homemade garlic knots. In the afternoon, we will make brownies from scratch, and then transform them into bunnies with cookie cutters, jelly beans, and frosting!
Friday, March 28
Lunch: Pizza
Dessert: Watercolor Cookies
PIZZA FRIDAY! We make the dough ourselves and top it with pizza sauce and mozzarella. In the afternoon, using our awesome sugar cookie dough and fondant - we'll create beautiful cookies to celebrate Spring by painting them with "watercolors".
Monday, March 31
Lunch: Ramen Bowls
Dessert: Decorated Sugar Cookies
Campers love making our homemade Miso Ramen with toppings like soft boiled eggs and seaweed snacks. It's a fun opportunity to try new things and - we swear - they love it!
In the afternoon, we'll have fun with a trendy new sugar cookie technique that's all about color and design.
Tuesday, April 1
Lunch: Homemade Tomato Soup + Cheddar Crackers
Dessert: April Fool's Cupcakes
Kiddos give 2 thumbs up to our homemade tomato soup and they especially love the process of making an all butter cheesy cracker dough to roll out and stamp into cute shapes.
Dessert will be super fun! a SILLY cupcake competition to make April Fool's Cupcakes.
Allergies: We can accommodate most food allergies and do not serve any peanuts or tree nuts. When you register your child please list any food allergies and we are happy to accommodate.

Less than 2 wks notice = credit - $25 admin fee
Less than 1 wks notice = no credit offered. You may transfer camp to another child. Email us to let us know.
What to bring:
Water bottles are nice but not necessary.
You may bring an apron but not necessary.
Close-toed shoes are ideal and tying long hair back is helpful.
Dress for Mess!
Arrival + Dismissal:
Camp staff will be ready to check in campers 10 mins before camp is scheduled to begin.

My daughter and her friend attended and they seemed to love it! Cake pops are always a great idea, they loved making those!
Improvements:
I think the age range is too large. When 10-11 year olds are doing the same activity with 4-5 year olds it really changes the dynamic. I think they would enjoy it more if the time was structured more to their age group.

Student "That I got to play with some kids and I liked making the frosting for the churro donuts." Mom: Sign up and drop off/pick up were super easy. We feel super safe sending our kid for the day. It's a great day off option in the neighborhood.

it is our first time been here. My two kids join dif cooking classes before and they told me this one is their favorite! they chopped the fruit, made cream and baked cookies. The instructors working at wicker park location on 2/17 are so nice. I love here
