Class Experience
We will be working on a new packet of songs, learning finger picking, new songs and building out chord library. Actually, we'll be having fun!
Notes
Please take note of our absence policy.
Teacher Absence - Refund or scheduled makeup
Student Absence - Scheduled makeup. Makeup-one per semester, but we'll try to squeeze you in!
Snow Days- We'll go by the weather.
Message 413-246-7338 if student will be late or not attend that day. Please give us plenty of notice as in 24 hours, if possible.
Class Requirements
- In this class, the student has taken at least one year of acoustic guitar and gone through two packets of songs in their binders.
What you'll learn
- Finger picking
- Leads
- New strums
- Playing in unison
- Playing differnt parts at the same time
- Learning to tune
Sample Class Format
- Tune the guitars
- Check in with how the songs from the previous week went, and play any that were difficult
- Begin new material
- Miss Leticia Music School is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
Other Things To Know
The student should practice 4 times or more per week, to keep up with the material. It's a chance to move forward to make lessons interesting.
Closed for the long schooI holidays.
Refunds: Instructor Absence
Makeups: Student Absence. No Refunds. 1 makeup per semester, we'll try to work out more.Snow days, we'll see.
The semester is non prorated. We work on all the Monday Holidays.
How To Participate
Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.
What To Bring
- Bring acoustic guitar, tuner, and capo
- I will provide the binder and a new packet of songs for the level of the student.

Teachers and students were very welcoming. My son is new to using a drum set and was definitely a little out of his league, but he came out smiling, excited and confident he could rise to the occasion. Wonderful first experience.

About Miss Leticia Music School
We are a small, family owned after school music program for students interested in acoustic string instruments, such as guitar and ukulele, to electric instruments (bass, electric guitar, acoustic electric guitar, keyboards, vocals and drums). We offer private, group, and rock band lessons weekly from 30 to 60 minutes. We run throughout the school year, with two semesters and two recitals; September through January and February through June. In the summer, we offer 2 weeks of regular summer camp for students 5-14, and Advanced Songwriting for students 11 years and up.We have 3 teachers with different expertise and education. Each offering music that fits both the teacher's tastes and the student's abilities. Most importantly, it's a Blast!
