Class Experience
Stop motion animation was the first way animated films were made, and it's still being used today! It's in films like Shaun the Sheep, Wendell & Wild and Corpse Bride. There are endless ways to create this animation and we will show you how. In this FREE 12-week course, you'll learn how to create your own animated film. No prior experience necessary.
Class Requirements
- Parents must provide signed permission form and video waiver for the current school year
- Students eligible for Student Service Learning (SSL) hours based on attendance and participation.
Sample Class Format
- this hands on class will teach you each facet of stop motion animation (how to: script a story, create a storyboard, create scenes and figures, lighting, capture the animation, put it all together, and more) as well as give you an introduction to 2D animation techniques
- you will work in teams as you learn
