Class Experience
Design, build, and create your very own LEGO city!
In this exciting camp, young engineers will bring their imaginations to life by designing and constructing a vibrant LEGO city. Campers will learn about architecture, city planning, and teamwork as they create skyscrapers, bridges, and transportation systems. Each day blends hands-on building, creative challenges, and engaging play. Campers will receive a custom camp t-shirt to celebrate their week of building and creativity!

Sample Class Format
- Camp Hours
Standard Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Extended Day Option:
Drop-off as early as 7:30 AM
Pick-up until 5:30 PM
Constructive activities during extended hours include free play with LEGO bricks, puzzles, and building challenges.
- Two-Week Daily Schedule
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Morning Builder’s Brainstorm (fun facts about cities and warm-up LEGO challenges)
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: LEGO Build Challenge
Week 1:
- Monday: Design and construct streets and foundations.
- Tuesday: Build and decorate skyscrapers and city landmarks.
- Wednesday: Create bridges and transportation systems.
- Thursday: Design parks, playgrounds, and green spaces.
- Friday: Combine elements into individual projects to bring home.
Week 2:
- Monday: Build cranes and large-scale city infrastructure.
- Tuesday: Create city zones (residential, commercial, industrial).
- Wednesday: Add advanced details like vehicles and community spaces.
- Thursday: Collaborate on a full LEGO city display.
- Friday: Finalize and present the LEGO city showcase with a take-home mini project.
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Snack Break & LEGO Stories
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Discovery Zone Activities
- LEGO Wall: Practice structural building and creative designs.
Lite-Brite Wall: Create colorful city-inspired patterns.
RC Tonka Pit: Experiment with transportation designs.
Rigamajig Engineering Set: Construct large-scale city tools.
- 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
- 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM: Creative City Add-Ons
Decorate buildings, design community features, or create LEGO vehicles.
- 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM: Special Weekly Activity
- Monday: Pop Jet Splash Pad and Gaga Ball
- Tuesday: Movie Day at Cinebistro Summer Film Fest
- Wednesday: Pop Jet Splash Pad and Outdoor Play
- Thursday: Outdoor Games and Challenges with the Outdoor Game Bag
- Friday: Outdoor Games and LEGO City Showcase Celebration
- 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM: Wrap-Up & Review (reflect on creations and share highlights)
- 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Pick-Up for Standard Hours
Accelerated Options for One-Week Campers
To ensure campers attending for one week take home meaningful projects, the camp includes:
- Mini LEGO City Projects: Build a smaller, self-contained city (e.g., streets, buildings, and vehicles) that they can take home by Friday.
- Personalized LEGO Creations: Focus on creating iconic features like a custom skyscraper, bridge, or park they can display at home.
- Daily Take-Home Projects: Every day, campers will bring home small builds (e.g., a vehicle, bridge, or decorative element) to showcase their work.
Extended Day Activities (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)
During extended hours, campers will engage in constructive activities like:
- Free play and mini challenges with LEGO bricks
- Puzzles and creative construction games
- Quiet reflection or reading space
Special Features
- Two-Week Experience: Dive deeper into architecture and city planning, with collaborative and detailed projects.
- Flexible Options: One-week campers will complete accelerated projects and take home their unique builds.
Weekly Highlights:
- Tuesday Movie Days: Enjoy a fun film at Cinebistro Summer Film Fest.
- Monday & Wednesday Splash Pad: Cool off and play at the Stony Point Pop Jet area.
- Thursday & Friday Outdoor Games: Gaga Ball and engaging outdoor challenges.
- Camp T-Shirt: Each camper receives a custom camp t-shirt to commemorate their creative week.
