Class Experience
Build, design, and create like a master engineer inspired by Minecraft!
In this one-week camp, young builders will explore real-world engineering concepts through hands-on challenges inspired by the creativity of Minecraft. Campers will learn about structures, bridges, and sustainable design, creating their own models using various materials. Each day includes a special Minecraft Hour where campers can share tips, trade secrets, and collaborate on projects in their own Minecraft worlds. Campers will need to bring their own device preloaded with Minecraft. Each camper will receive a custom camp t-shirt to celebrate their week of creative discovery.

Camp Hours
Standard Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Extended Day Option:
Drop-off as early as 7:30 AM
Pick-up until 5:30 PM
Constructive activities during extended hours include LEGO building, Minecraft-themed puzzles, and creative play in the Discovery Zones.
One-Week Daily Schedule
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Morning Builder’s Brainstorm (fun trivia and warm-up activities inspired by Minecraft and engineering)
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Engineering Challenge
- Monday: Build bridges inspired by Minecraft’s blocky landscapes using real-world materials.
- Tuesday: Design and construct a tower using LEGO or Rigamajig sets, focusing on stability.
- Wednesday: Create sustainable homes or eco-friendly villages with recycled materials.
- Thursday: Explore motion by building contraptions like pulley systems or simple machines.
- Friday: Combine projects into a collaborative engineering showcase.
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Snack Break & Minecraft-Inspired Stories
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Discovery Zone Activities
LEGO Wall: Build landmarks or structures inspired by engineering concepts.
RC Tonka Pit: Test bridge and terrain designs.
Rigamajig Engineering Set: Create large-scale structures or vehicles.
- 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
- 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM: Minecraft Hour
- Campers will use their devices to collaborate, share tips, and trade secrets within their own Minecraft worlds.
- 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM: Special Weekly Activity
Monday: Pop Jet Splash Pad and Gaga Ball
Tuesday: Movie Day at Cinebistro Summer Film Fest
Wednesday: Pop Jet Splash Pad and Outdoor Play
Thursday: Outdoor Games and Challenges with the Outdoor Game Bag
Friday: Outdoor Games and Engineering Showcase Celebration
- 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM: Wrap-Up & Reflection (review projects, share highlights, and celebrate progress)
- 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Pick-Up for Standard Hours
Extended Day Activities (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)
During extended hours, campers will engage in constructive activities like:
LEGO building and Minecraft-inspired construction challenges
Puzzles and creative engineering games
Quiet reflection or reading space
Special Features
Hands-On Engineering: Explore bridges, towers, and sustainable design through real-world materials.
Minecraft Collaboration: Enjoy a dedicated hour each day for tips, secrets, and gameplay on personal devices.
Weekly Highlights:
Tuesday Movie Day: Enjoy a fun film at Cinebistro Summer Film Fest.
Monday & Wednesday Splash Pad: Cool off and play at the Stony Point Pop Jet area.
Friday Showcase: Celebrate achievements with an Engineering and Minecraft-inspired Showcase.
- Camp T-Shirt: Each camper receives a custom camp t-shirt to commemorate their creative week.
