Get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure! Campers will explore the exciting worlds of NASA and SpaceX, learning about space exploration, rocket science, and cutting-edge technology. With hands-on activities, team challenges, and creative discovery, this camp combines science, engineering, and imagination to spark curiosity and critical thinking. Built-in field trips and interactive zones make every day unforgettable.
Sample Class Format
- Camp Hours
Standard Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Extended Day Option:
Drop-off as early as 7:30 AM
Pick-up until 5:30 PM
Activities During Extended Hours: Discovery Zones free play (Lite Brite Wall, LEGO Wall, RC Tonka Pit), puzzles, and space-themed crafting projects.
One-Week Daily Schedule
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Mission Briefing
Fun trivia, riddles, and warm-up activities introducing the day’s space exploration theme.
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Space Tech Explorations
- Monday: Introduction to NASA and SpaceX – Learn about their missions and innovations.
- Tuesday: Rocket Science 101 – Dive into propulsion and orbits.
- Wednesday: Life in Space – Discover how astronauts live and work on the ISS.
- Thursday: Exploring Mars – Understand rovers and their groundbreaking discoveries.
- Friday: Camper Choice – Recap the week’s favorite topics and prepare for the final rover build.
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Snack Break & Space Reflections
Share thoughts and discoveries during a structured discussion.
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: STEAM Challenge Activities
- Monday: Build a rocket prototype and test its launch.
- Tuesday: Engineer parachutes for safe landings.
- Wednesday: Design structures to withstand microgravity.
- Thursday: Simulate navigating Mars with robotic rovers.
- Friday: Final rover build – Campers design and construct their own functional rover to take home.
- 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
- 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM: Discovery Hour

- 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM: Special Weekly Activities
- Monday: Pop Jet Splash Pad
- Tuesday: Movie Day at Cinebistro Summer Film Fest (space-themed film)
- Wednesday: Pop Jet Splash Pad
- Thursday: Gaga Ball and Challenges with the Outdoor Game Bag
- Friday: Rover Showcase and Celebration – Campers test and display their rovers in a group challenge.
- 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM: Wrap-Up & Reflection
Recap the day’s lessons, share highlights, and celebrate successes.
- 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Pick-Up for Standard Hours
Extended Day Activities (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)
Campers will enjoy:
- Quiet reading and space-themed puzzles.
- Strategy games related to space exploration.
- Creative art and crafting projects (designing alien landscapes, space suits, or planets).
