Class Experience
Gear up for a week of space exploration and hands-on learning in Space Tech Trek! Teens will dive into the cutting-edge world of NASA and SpaceX, discovering how astronauts travel to space, build and live on the International Space Station, and use technology to explore distant planets.
By the end of the camp, each participant will create their own Galaxy RVR Mars Rover to take home—a personalized robotic rover built to tackle Mars-like challenges. Campers will also design creative aspects of the International Space Station and explore the transportation and technology powering modern space exploration.
This camp is perfect for teens who are curious about engineering, science, and the exciting future of space travel.
-
Design Your Own Mars Rover: Build and customize your Galaxy RVR Mars Rover to simulate exploring Mars’ surface. -
Learn About Space Transportation: Discover how SpaceX and NASA rockets work and what it takes to travel to space. -
International Space Station Challenge: Collaborate to design living and working spaces that could survive in orbit. -
Hands-On Space Tech: Experiment with engineering and mechanics through exciting challenges and activities.
Notes
A full day of camp for teens is 8:30am - 3:30pm. We strive not to over schedule this age group so if extended day is needed, we will ensure there are age appropriate options in our Discovery Zones that can be more interesting than smart phones, but phones are welcome provided they can be put away during core camp experiences.
