Choose your path for an exciting week of chess, strategy, and fun! Whether you want the fast-paced action of Blitz Chess & Cubes or the quiet focus of Silent Knights, both camps offer a unique chess experience tailored to your style of play.
Option 1: Blitz Chess & Cubes
Perfect for teens who thrive under pressure and love a fast-paced challenge. This camp combines the intensity of Blitz chess matches with hands-on problem-solving cube challenges. Develop your speed, strategy, and critical thinking through high-energy games and puzzles.
Key Activities

Blitz Chess Battles: Play timed matches to sharpen your instincts and decision-making. -
Cube Challenges: Solve Rubik’s cubes and other puzzles to build problem-solving skills. -
Creative Chess Variants: Try Bughouse, Fischer Random, and other exciting formats. -
Blitz Championship: Compete in a friendly tournament to test your skills!
Option 2: Silent Knights
If you prefer a calm, focused environment to refine your chess skills, Silent Knights is for you. This camp combines self-paced chess training with personalized feedback, tips from online tools like Gotham Chess, and daily insights from a Women’s International Master to guide your improvement.

Notes
A full day of camp for teens is 8:30am - 3:30pm. We strive not to over schedule this age group so if extended day is needed, we will ensure there are age appropriate options in our Discovery Zones that can be more interesting than smart phones, but phones are welcome provided they can be put away during core camp experiences.
Sample Class Format
- Daily Schedule (For Both Camps)
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Warm-Up Challenges
Start the day with chess puzzles, cube challenges, or quiet tactical exercises.
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Focused Learning
Blitz Chess & Cubes: Practice timed games and cube-solving strategies.
Silent Knights: Explore advanced chess techniques and review Gotham Chess tips.
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Snack & Break
Relax and socialize with other campers.
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Hands-On Practice
Blitz Chess & Cubes: Participate in Blitz matches or cube-solving competitions.
Silent Knights: Play slow, thoughtful games or solve tactical puzzles.
- 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
- 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM: Discovery Zone Exploration
Campers will have access to:
- 3D Puzzles for problem-solving fun.
- Pendulum Drip Canvas Art for creative relaxation.
- Air Hockey & Ping Pong Tables for social games.
- Retro Games Redux featuring classic arcade entertainment.
- Micro Squish Pets Center for tactile, calming play.
- 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM: Advanced Challenges
- Blitz Chess & Cubes: Try team-based games like chess relays or cube races.
- Silent Knights: Practice high-level tactics or analyze past games with instructors.
- 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM: Camp Showcase or Tournament
Blitz Chess & Cubes: Compete in the final Blitz Championship.
Silent Knights: Present your chess improvement in a mastery challenge.
- 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Wrap-Up
