Class Experience

Say goodbye to training wheels! Learn to Ride campers will be riding independently, safely and confidently by week's end. LTR Camp is designed for a range of riders- from hesitant and fearful with zero bike experience, to balance bike pros- our individualized instruction and games-based curriculum allows a wide range of riders to get the support, encouragement and challenge they need to succeed! Participants master balance and gliding first, then easily transition to riding independently, starting/stopping, speed control, turning, steering, riding in groups and around obstacles and hazards. Even the most reluctant riders will be beaming  and showing off their skills by the last day Bike Parade for families, encouraged by our expert instructors and caring staff, specialized equipment and lots of practice through games and fun. This camp registration includes use of our high quality, lightweight specialty bicycles for the duration of camp, but you must provide accurate height information for your camper.

Loved:

Patrick had fun

Improvements:

Communication with parents about issues so we can help instead of learning that our child can’t ride the bike during the parade. We previously had a good experience with our middle son leaning to ride in your program. But I very disappointed that Patrick is not riding and had challenges in camp. Had this been shared, we could have provided assistance.
