Class Experience
In this camp, our artists will express themselves through creating different projects daily. Each day they will learn about a different style of art and practice what they learn. (Some mediums explored are ceramics/pottery, painting, fashion, jewelry, photography, video, textiles) Campers will get to be creative and design their own masterpieces to share and show off. This camp may get a little messy, but it will be tons of fun!
Campers will be broken up into age appropriate groups.
Our camps are designed to promote mental health and inspire creativity. The benefits of art will be taught on a small-scale by our talented teaching artists during your week-long camp.
CAMP HOURS
Full-day camp hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday-Friday
Drop off: 9:00 - 9:30am I Pick Up: 2:30 - 3:00pm
Morning Extended Camp: 8:00 - 9:00am
Afternoon Extended Camp: 3:00 - 4:00pm
CAMP RATIOS
Age 4 to 5 - 1 staff to 6 children
Ages 6 to 8 - 1 staff to 8 children
Ages 9 to 14 - 1 staff to 10 children
Ages 15 to 18 - 1 staff to 12 teens
OUR CAMP STAFF
Each camp leader is selected through an extensive hiring process to ensure the safest environment for everyone. Our training program includes:
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Behavior guidance and trauma informed care
- Child protection and abuse prevention
- General risk management and prevention
- Support campers with special needs
- Heat and sun protection safety

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Two payment options are available for your convenience:
1. Pay now: Pay your balance in full.
2. Pay later: Set up a payment plan at checkout splitting the cost into three separate installments. The total balance is due 14 days before the first day of camp.
- Non-payment will result in the camper being removed from the roster and their space becoming available to new registrants.
Sample Class Format
- 8:00-9:00am - Morning Extended Care
- 9:00-9:15am - Drop-Off
- 9:15-9:30am - Group Daily Check-In/Divide Into Groups
- 9:30-10:30am - Activity Rotation 1
- 10:30-10:45am - Snack Break
- 10:45-11:45am - Activity Rotation 2
- 11:45am-1:15pm - Lunch/Group Break Time
- 1:15-2:15pm - Activity Rotation 3
- 2:15-2:45pm - Snack Break
- 2:45-3:00pm - Closing/Clean Up/Pick-Up
- 3:00-4:00pm - Afternoon Extended Care
Camps will spend at least 2 rotations focusing on their camp specialty. Additional rotations may be spent at activity stations like arts and crafts, STEAM, songs games and more! Some weeks may have special activities that include outside vendors such as jumpy days, reptile visits, ect.
Other Things To Know
- Refunds will be not issued. Any payments made for service will be credited to Sawyer account for future use.

My own understanding - It was a relatively small group - though perfect for my kids! - and from the website I had expected multiple groups in the 7-10 kid range. No one every said it was going to be bigger - I just somehow got in my mind it was - not false advertising by them, mistaken understanding by me
