Class Experience
Level 2 will build on the foundations you learned in Level 1. You will continue to develop more ASLary. You will learn numbers up to 500. You will continue to focus on visual discrimination, fingerspelling and use of space and gestures. You will also be introduced to grammar;(nouns, direction verbs, Wh/Yes no questions, classifiers and NMS (non manual signals). You will be introduced to Deaf slang and idioms.

How To Participate
Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.

very little. I am very dissatisfied with this class and cannot recommend it to anyone.
Improvements:
The instructor has assumed that we are at his level of signing but we are not. His should speak to us as he is signing so that the lesson is easier to follow. Also as he appears in a "thumbnail" view his signs are hard to see.

Sorry to hear you're struggling with the class. ASL can be tough over Zoom. If possible, would you be able to attend in person? All of our Deaf instructors teach visually, with no voice used, to give a more authentic experience. We want to make sure everyone, no matter their level, feels supported.
