Class Experience
This class is designed to immerse students in a multifaceted exploration of digital creativity, technology integration, and STEM education. Participants will engage in a variety of activities that combine robotics, gaming, esports, and coding to develop their technical skills, creativity, and critical thinking abilities.
Activities:
LEGO Robotics Workshops:
Students will learn the fundamentals of robotics using Spike Prime kits. They'll explore robot design, programming concepts, and sensor integration. Hands-on activities will involve building and programming robots to complete specific challenges or tasks.
Minecraft Creative Building Sessions: Participants will unleash their creativity in Minecraft's creative mode. They'll learn advanced building techniques, architectural design principles, and pixel art creation. Collaborative building projects will encourage teamwork, communication, and project management skills.
Esports Tournaments and Strategy Sessions: Students will participate in esports tournaments featuring popular games like Rocket League. Strategy sessions will focus on game mechanics, teamwork strategies, and critical thinking in competitive gaming environments.
Emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship, fair play, and respectful competition.
