Class Experience
Each week there will be a different fiber arts activity including embroidery, weaving, fabric collage, dyeing, and more! RPEMS students will be picked up at 2:50pm. Please give teachers permission for Social Studio pick-up! Please inform Genie by text 443-449-6142 of any changes in the schedule (sick, not in school, etc.)

Social Studio sessions are designed using the Creative Process Framework promoting growth in confidence, communication of ideas, and art-making skills through 6 phases: Explore, Engage, Express, Expand, Exchange & Empower. Social Studio believes commitment to your creative process cultivates empathy and connection. Other Things To Know
When you register for a class you are committed to the date & time & to being on time. Latecomers are not admitted. Please text 443-449-6142 if you cannot attend a class. Full credit or 90% refund are contingent on filling the space.

I love Genie so much. She strikes a perfect balance between giving advice but also giving you freedom to go where you wish. She supports and encourages you, and then she backs off. And if you happen to go a different way than you were expecting with your art, she always supports where you chose to go, and helps you work through struggles, allowing you to remain true to yourself while also improving your work. I really love her teaching style - directive but not too directive. She's wonderful!
