Class Experience
Acting 1 is a 6-Week virtual immersion into the art of acting. This course was created with the beginner actor in mind as well as actors who want a refresher! Students will particpate in an engaging, hands on, supportive learning environment with a professional instructor. No prior experience is required to particpate in Acting 1. After the completion of this course students are welcome to advance to Acting 2.

Due to our limited number of spots for this course, cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the scheduled date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this time will receive a credit for a future class.
How To Participate
Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.
What To Bring
- Please bring a pencil, water and notebook for class.

About JEM STARS Performing Arts Company
THE JEM STARS GOAL
To create positive experiences for the next generation of performing artists through high-quality acting, singing and dance programming that educates and empowers people of all ages, backgrounds, identities and abilities. Founded in 2020 by Janelle Murray, the JEM STARS Performing Arts Company methodology uses the performing arts as a tool to support positive individual development, confidence and character building. Janelle wants to give what she didn't have growing up and takes great pride in serving as a teaching artist, mentor and role model to all of her students.
