Clay Camp Ages 8-10

Dive into a week of creativity and underwater adventure with Under the Sea: Clay Creations Camp! 

This exciting camp invites young artists to explore the vibrant and mysterious world beneath the waves, bringing it to life through the magic of clay.

Each day, we’ll discover fascinating facts about ocean life and use our imaginations to dream up our own unique sea creatures, fantastical fish, and stunning seascapes. 

Campers will start by sketching their underwater inspirations and then transform their ideas into 3D creations using a variety of clay techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab-building.

The fun doesn’t stop there—add personality and flair to your pieces with vibrant, permanent paints before they’re fired at Providence Pottery and Arts Studio in Arnold. Whether it’s a realistic sea turtle, a whimsical jellyfish, or an entirely new ocean creature, your creations will truly be one of a kind!

Bonus: All finished works will be fired to perfection and ready for pick-up about two weeks after camp ends—making the anticipation part of the fun!

This camp is perfect for young artists who love the ocean, enjoy hands-on creativity, and want to explore the endless possibilities of clay.

Note: This half day ArtFarm Camp follows a half day Artworks camp that will be also held at ArtFarm.

If your child is staying for the both morning and afternoon camps: Campers will need to pack a lunch and bring a water bottle to enjoy during the lunch break (12-1) in our lounge area.
