Morning: Kids Art School Camp
At ArtFarm, we believe in the power of creativity, and our Kids Art Camp is all about digging into the fundamentals of art while exploring a variety of materials. Each day, campers will dive into a different art form—drawing, painting, sculpture, and more—giving them the opportunity to express themselves and build their artistic skills. With a focus on the creative process, children will experiment with different techniques and materials, all while learning about inspiring artists from the past and present. Whether they’re creating a still life, making a sculpture, or exploring abstract painting, kids will develop their creative confidence and love for art in a supportive, fun environment.
Afternoon: Batik Art (Wax Resist and Fabric Dying)
In the afternoon, young artists will explore the ancient art of Batik, a technique that combines wax and dye on fabric to create stunning patterns and designs. Campers will work with cotton fabrics, colorful fabric dyes, and melted beeswax to craft their own unique creations. After learning the batik process, they will create beautiful pieces like candleholders, tapestries, and lampshades. Along the way, kids will experiment with different methods for applying wax and dye, using interesting materials and tools to bring their ideas to life. This afternoon camp is a perfect introduction to the world of fiber arts and allows campers to explore new textures, colors, and techniques in a creative, hands-on way.
What to Expect:
- A week of mixed-media creativity, starting with traditional art fundamentals and ending with an exciting batik projects
- Exploration of fabric dyes, beeswax, and other unique materials
- Step-by-step guidance in learning batik techniques and fiber art
- Hands-on projects that blend painting, design, and textiles

Join us for a week of hands-on creativity and artistic exploration at ArtFarm! Your child will leave with new skills, a deeper appreciation for art, and beautiful pieces they’ve made with their own hands.
