Class Experience
Inspire our youngest group of makers to enter the world of fabrication and digital design. Using TinkerCAD, accessible software purpose-built for kids, we'll create name tags, buildings, vehicles and more! 3D Design assists students develop spacial awareness, sequence based thinking, creativity and more.
Other Things To Know
Registrations are non-refundable. Credit for missed classes or workshops will be offered if notice is given on or before the same day. No credits for late requests.
What To Bring
- This class includes one take-home 3D print from each session, often ready the same day, always ready by the following week.

Jake is fun and so innovative.
Improvements:
Nothing, Makeinspires is the most incredible facility I have ever seen and that says a lot considering I have raised my almost 8 year old daughter on the UES and taken her to every mommy and me, now drop off classes. It is the most stellar institution we have had come into our world, well, ever!! What Travis and the owners do and the space, how warm it is and the opportunities are beyond incredible!

The location was bright & spacious.
Improvements:
My child didn’t learn much. Would be nice if he learned about 3D printing or how it’s done. It seemed like he just played on a computer.

We’re glad you enjoyed the space. Tinkercad can feel like play, and it teaches key aspects of 3D design. The designs will be 3D printed and ready for pickup within a week. When you stop by, we’d be happy to discuss the process. Workshops provide an introduction, while our weekly enrollments dive deeper over 10 weeks.
