Class Experience
Watch this video about this exciting new class!
In this hands-on course, students will explore Java programming fundamentals and apply their knowledge to Minecraft modding. Starting with the basics of classes, variables, and flow control, students will build structured programs and interactive console applications. They'll progress to methods, encapsulation, and inheritance, learning how to write reusable, modular code.
Students will manipulate the game world, design interactive objects, and develop AI behaviors for custom creatures. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in Java and the skills to bring their own unique ideas to life within Minecraft!
Other Things To Know
Registrations are non-refundable. Credit for missed classes or workshops will be offered if notice is given on or before the same day. No credits for late requests.

The location was bright & spacious.
Improvements:
My child didn’t learn much. Would be nice if he learned about 3D printing or how it’s done. It seemed like he just played on a computer.

We’re glad you enjoyed the space. Tinkercad can feel like play, and it teaches key aspects of 3D design. The designs will be 3D printed and ready for pickup within a week.
