Learn to Ride Minis

This class combines the best of our Balance Bike Playdates and our Learn to Ride program to offer an opportunity for the littlest kiddos to get pedaling! Just as our Learn to Ride program, this class will progress from balancing and gliding to independent pedaling, but in a less structured, more play-based setting, with lots of time for exploration on our obstacle course elements. As participants master balance and gliding, we'll begin to introduce pedals. Once they've transitioned to riding independently, we'll work on starting/stopping, speed control, turning, steering, riding in groups and around obstacles and hazards. Encouraged by our expert instructors and caring staff, using our specialized equipment, participants will develop skills and comfort on the bike quickly. This is a great class option for siblings in the 3-6 age range. We would prefer the youngest students to have some previous balance bike experience. Younger ones may need more parent participation and encouragement during class, so come prepared to move with your child.

High quality, lightweight Woom bikes are available to use and strongly encouraged. Otherwise participants must have a small enough bike, in good working order, that allows their feet to be flat on the ground when sitting on the seat. Bring helmet, optional bike gloves, sneakers and socks.
