Learn, explore, create, and enjoy the perfect summer day. Immerse your child in a world of creativity and wonder at Le Meraviglie Art Camp this summer! Led by artist and educator Piera Bonerba, this arts-immersion program, located in the vibrant intersection of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, and Columbia Waterfront, is designed to engage children aged 5 to 11 through a variety of artistic activities, all while ensuring that children are grouped by age for a tailored experience.
Each week at Le Meraviglie introduces children to different artists and art forms, including drawing, painting, collage, music, dance, and more. With age-specific groups, children can dive deeper into activities that resonate with their developmental stage. Field trips to the park, outdoor adventures, and collaborative art projects add excitement and variety to each day.
A typical day at Le Meraviglie includes outdoor art activities, story time, workshops, group activities, and even a cooking workshop on Fridays where campers will prepare their own lunch. Enroll your child for one week, multiple weeks, or the entire summer. With a low teacher-to-child ratio and age-focused groupings, your child will receive personalized attention and guidance as they explore the world of art at Le Meraviglie Art Camp. *On Fridays, we will have a cooking workshop at the studio, where we will prepare our lunch together.*
Because the themes change from week to week, families are welcome to enroll for one week, two, three, or all. Additionally, a multiple weeks discount will be available at checkout for those booking three weeks or more.
**Sample of schedule:**
The daily format is flexible and responsive to the children's interests and ongoing project work; however, our typical camp day looks like this:
* 9:00 AM | Drop Off
* 9:00 AM - 9:10 AM | Introduction to Le Meraviglie + Free Draw + Play Time
* 9:10 AM - 9:20 AM | Collective Circle for Community Guidelines and Intention Setting for the Day
* 9:20 AM - 9:30 AM | Packing for Park
* 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM | Heading to Brooklyn Bridge Park or Adam Yauch Park:
- Picnic snack
- Outdoor art
- Group games
- Journaling
* 11:30 AM - 11:40 AM | Return to Studio
* 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM | Lunch
* 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM | Cozy Corner, Story Time
* 1:10 PM - 3:30 PM | Art workshop and Explorative Art Centers (2:15 PM - 2:30 PM Snack and Story Time)
* 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM | Gallery walk and end of the day group games.
* 4:00 PM | Pick Up
*We also offer early drop-off at 8:30 AM and an extended day option until 6 PM for those needing a little extra time, both available for a fee.

If you cancel at least 30 days before camp, you'll receive a 50% refund. However, if your child is sick, we offer a 50% credit as a coupon for Le Meraviglie art activities, valid for 12 months.

Le Meraviglie consistently delivers high-quality programming that is original, engaging, and organized. At his last class, my son made fresh gnocchi for lunch and learned about Yayoi Kusama. Thus school is such a wonderful addition to our neighborhood!

Le Meraviglie is such a special place! Louise comes home with the most beautiful and unique projects and the class cooked pasta today, as well. Couldn’t recommend this spot more!!
