Class Experience
Our French for Heritage Speakers is a 60-minute weekly session designed for children (ages 9-13) of bilingual families who can understand and speak French but need practice with communicating, reading, and writing it.
As support and optimization of their written skills, complementary areas will be included in their curriculum (grammar, spelling/sentence structures, and conjugations).
With our intuitive teaching approach, we empower children to structure their thoughts, speak and write in their “background language”.
Our experienced native teachers facilitate their mastery of the language with the use of conversational games, interactive activities, and lively materials to engage and entertain their students.
Through our session, they will get the right tools to speak French confidently.
Class Requirements
- Classes are adapted to the age range of the group and designed for students with knowledge of the language and a good understanding of the language.
- The classes are designed for students who have been immersed or exposed to the language for a long period but need assistance speaking it.
- A new topic is introduced every week. Students who sign up in the middle of the semester will still be able to catch up - with worksheets from previous lessons. It’s never too late to enroll!
Sample Class Format
- The class will be limited to 6 students, to ensure a catered approach and enable every child to actively participate in the lesson.

100% refundable up to 2 weeks before the start of the session with the $50 restocking fee.
50% refundable less than 2 weeks before the session starts with the $50 restocking fee.
No make-ups, no cancellations, and no refunds after the start.

You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions.

We absolutely adore the Korean class at Tribeca Language! The staff is amazing—warm, welcoming, and friendly. The Korean teacher is exceptional—she’s incredibly patient, caring, and has a wealth of experience with both younger and older children. Every time the class ends, all we see are happy faces. Our child has been attending for two years and loves it!

I highly recommend enrolling your child as early as possible; there's a point where you’ll see such impressive growth, and it’s truly a joy to witness! :)

My son had so much fun in his Korean class! The instructor is warm, friendly and great at her job. This is the perfect play based learning Korean class! I highly recommend this class and will be back!
