Class Experience
Do you have a bilingual chatterbox that loves show & tell and talking all about their toys, lives, and interests? Then this is the class for you!
Each week, our instructors Miss Andie and Miss Kaila will lead the kids through a fun theme where they'll be encouraged to share, engage, comment, and show off their toys and skills and drawings, and more. This "conversation club" is all about getting our bilingüitos' imaginations going and their Spanish conversation skills flowing!
Instructors will be there as a guide to spark new topics of conversation, moderate the discussion, and help enrich kids' language skills, but there will be no rigid agenda for class, so students will be able to share freely!
This class is full Spanish immersion, geared for kids who can express themselves in Spanish, especially as this is a speaking-focused class. Aimed for Levels 4 & up (See our level descriptions here) but Level 3s are also welcome if they enjoy the immersion environment.

Class Requirements
- Geared for Spanish Levels 4 & up (see our children's Spanish level scale linked in main description)
What you'll learn
- Students will explore fun topics and themes
- Students will be invited and encouraged to share, show, and tell
- Chatterboxes welcome! (Teacher will be there to moderate discussion and make sure everyone is getting "air time" and a turn to speak)
- Students who know Spanish but tend to switch to English will be coaxed back into Spanish using different immersion classroom techniques

You're invited to participate with your child at whatever level they need :)
Refunds are available (minus 6.99% processing fee) for up to 3 days from date of booking, or up to 3 days before class/event begins, whichever comes first. After that, refunds will not be available.
How To Participate
Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.
What To Bring
- A basic materials list will be sent out in advance
- Each week will have a new theme where kids will be encouraged to bring something to share with the group

Love the idea of a skill based Spanish class- much more engaging than a typical Spanish class
Improvements:
Still unclear what time it ends, never seems to end on time which is hard for bedtime Speaking/reminding to the kids that it doesn’t have to be perfect, my 5 yr old gets discouraged by not making a perfect picture :/. Other drawing channels sometimes have good slogans like “the most important thing is to have fun and practice - it doesn’t have to look like the teacher”

This class is fun and engaging. Kaila is kind, attentive, and keeps my 5 year old's attention. I love that it's mostly in Spanish but that she offers support to meet all students where they are at, and that my son is getting to do one of his favorite hobbies in Spanish! He looks forward to it every time!

We love GrupoPLAY! It is the perfect way to get together with other Spanish speaking families and incorporate more Spanish time into our routines.

About Bilingüitos Spanish Immersion
Bilingüitos exists to cultivate and celebrate bilingualism all around us. We are specifically passionate about equipping bilingual families to connect with their family's heritage language TOGETHER through meaningful connection. We do this virtually through interactive and engaging Spanish immersion classes, featuring our signature Bilingüitos curriculum developed by linguist and childhood bilingualism specialist Kaila Diaz.
Beyond the virtual classroom, we are a vibrant and diverse community of families who are passionate about bilingualism and dedicated to instilling a lifelong love for learning in their children. (Come hang out on Instagram to see what we mean! @bilinguitos) We also have several in-person communities around the United States that come together for Spanish language meet ups. We delight in bringing these local bilingual communities together through playdates, storytimes, seasonal parties, movie nights, and other events all around their area.
