Class Experience
The spring season presents an opportunity to connect our artwork to changes in the natural world and cultivate wonder in our children. There are so many textures, transformations, and colors to explore. During our class, artists will investigate the properties of natural materials through our artful processes, creating works like botanical paintings, sunprints, and sculptures from natural materials. As children deepen thier understanding and appreciation for the natural world they become advocates for a healthy Earth!
Notes
Location: SOUTH ORANGE: The studio is located at 165 Valley Street Unit B in South Orange. Street parking is available on Valley Street and a public parking garage is connected to the building on Third Street across from Sloan Street. Please be mindful that Valley Street is a very well traveled road and keep your child at arm's length as you approach the studio. MONTCLAIR: Our Montclair studio is located at 237 Lorraine Avenue in Upper Montclair. Parking is available in the lot behind our storefront as well as the paid town lot across the street. Please enter through the front left hand door. Please dress for messy materials, and we may be using paints/inks that are not washable.

Sample Class Format
- Children are welcomed into the studio with some open choice. This 15 minutes is a great time for children to warm up, socialize, explore various materials, and PLAY!
- We will meet for a circle, discussion, and demonstration of the day's art process.
- Artists will then work independently on the project.
- Often when we complete a project, we'll have an Art Show, a time to share our work and reflect.
