Class Experience
Budding toddler artists will explore paint, crayons, oil pastels, collage materials, air-dry clay and recycled sculpture in this process-oriented art class. Each week we'll explore a different theme, including but not limited to:
- NYC
- Outer space
- Female artists
- Children's literature
- African American Artists
- World Cultures
- Animals
- Opposites
- Under the sea
This curriculum is a great introduction to a structured class for young artists, especially those getting ready for pre-school. We'll strengthen students' fine motor skills and ability to represent the world around them.
What you'll learn
- fine motor skill development
- colors (primary and secondary)
- shapes
- painting, collage, printmaking and sculpture techniques
Other Things To Know



Students can receive a Sawyer credit for 1 missed class. Any additional missed classes can be made up in a similar class that same semester or the one directly following.
