Class Experience
Our Special Holiday Lab features the best in classic and new board games from our enormous library. We teach kids great games. Then kids create their own modifications to these games by designing new rules, new actions, and more.
The afternoon concludes in the Lab with role playing games, such as Dungeons & Dragons and free play!
DETAILS Early drop off is available. Early drop off starts at 8 am.
Our indoor games include King of Tokyo, Codenames, Carcassonne, Unstable Unicorns, and much, much...much more!
Kids are divided by age into small groups, with one adult staff member for every six kids. We honor sibling/friend requests to our best ability.
CHANGES/CANCELLATION POLICY Need to change your reservation to different dates? No problem! We'll transfer your reservation to a different date as long as we have room.
If you need to cancel completely, we issue
- full credit as long if the cancellation is made one week before the session begins.
- credit minus $20 if the cancellation is made within one week of the session.

- Nut-free lunch and snacks (if desired).
- A frozen juice box or ice pack to keep lunch cold.
- Wipes to clean hands/face (do not need to be sanitizer-grade).
- Appropriate outwear for the weather.

My kiddo loves Game Lab. He was especially delighted when I told him that we'd drop him off at Game Lab instead of having a baby sitter - they played games, ate dinner and watched a movie. Perfect for a laid back Saturday night!

About Brooklyn Game Lab - Park Slope
We don’t just teach kids how to play games; we teach them how to analyze, discuss, and experiment with their own variants in small groups. Our kids are encouraged to think out of the (game) box. Kids who engage in our specialized approach to gaming develop critical-thinking skills like risk and resource management, the art of negotiation and deduction, and long-term planning. The Lab also stresses the importance of fair play, diplomacy, collaboration, and a positive attitude however the game turns out. Located in Park Slope, Brooklyn Game Lab has classes and camps for kids!
